Prospect Farms in Lawrenceville, Georgia is one of my absolute favorite spots for senior sessions, and Madison's wildflower field session is the perfect example of why.
Prospect Farms is a 21-acre family-owned photography venue just outside of Atlanta, near the Mall of Georgia. What makes it so special for seniors is the variety. You're not locked into one backdrop for your entire session. The property has wildflower and sunflower fields, a reclaimed window greenhouse, two barns, a natural light studio, and even Scottish Highland cows and goats. You can move through several totally different looks in one session, which means more variety in your gallery without having to drive all over the place.
For Madison's session, we spent time in the wildflower field and let the whole thing breathe. Wildflowers have this way of making a photo feel effortless and alive, and Madison was right at home in the middle of it all. The colors, the light, the movement of the flowers, it was one of those sessions where everything just works.

Junior year is almost over, and summer goes faster than anyone expects. Senior portrait season books up quickly, especially for popular locations like Prospect Farms where field availability is seasonal. Wildflowers and zinnias are available May through October, and sunflowers from June through October, so if you want that lush summer field look, now is the time to lock in your date. What to Expect at a Prospect Farms Senior Session
When you book a session here, you're renting the venue for a set time and choosing which setups you want to use. Along with the flower fields, you have access to things like tree swings, hay bales, the barn exterior, and the natural light studio. It's a lot of options in one place, and I love helping seniors figure out which combination fits their personality and the look they're going for.
If you want something moody and editorial, the greenhouse is stunning. If you want bright, golden, and free-spirited, the wildflower field is your spot. Most seniors do two or three setups in a single session, and the variety in your gallery at the end is incredible.
